Do You Make These Mistakes When Dieting?
Are you one of those people who take forever to lose 12 lbs…only to gain it all back in a week or two? Are you one of those people who just can't lose that last 5 or 10 pounds? Or, are you one of those people who don't have enough energy to even get out of bed in the morning?
Why Most People Make Mistakes
Most people do not lose weight when dieting simply because they never formed the habit of doing so. The formation of any habit comes only from constant practice, and dieting mistakes people make:
Mistake # 1: Eating Too Much Bread
Eliminating bread from your diet 30 days will simply amaze you. Research shows that your favorite bread feeds a yeast infection like gasoline on a fire, and also completely zaps your energy. If you want to lose that last 5 or 10 pounds try eliminating bread for 30 days.
Mistake # 2: Not Enough Water
If you know someone who is fat, you can bet that they are toxic. Their body is just loaded with acidic waste products that make their painful muscles and joints scream like a banshee. You wouldn't wash your kitchen floor, and then rinse it with the same dirty water. Your body is not different. These toxins need to be flushed out. Try drinking a glass of water before your meals, and any other time you feel hungry. If you really want to lose weight, you need to drink one-half gallon to one gallon of water daily.
Mistake # 3: Not Exercising
Most Americans get their daily exercise pushing the remote control of their television. If you want to speed up your weight loss, try adding 15 minutes of real exercise daily. Even something as simple as going for a walk after dinner. As you lose the weight, you can try walking faster…or even jogging!
Mistake # 4: Not Being Committed
How many people do you know who cheat on their diet? They cheat because they were never really committed to losing weight. You have to reach a point where you say to yourself, "I hate being this fat!" Then a tiny switch is flipped in your brain. And you know something has to change right now. Maybe you need a little help.
Mistake # 5: Not Enough Protein
You should have small meals including protein five times a day. 15 grams is a good amount. Protein in the form of avocado's, nuts, cheese, chicken, hard boiled eggs or even peanut butter could be a positive dietary choice. You will feel more satisfied from eating protein as well!
